Hello,
I'm using a GMF6 box on my Opel Corsa E from 2016.
I have some issues with it. The steering wheel buttons, for example, they work, but the functions are wrong. For example the volume up button lowers the volume and volume down raises the volume.
Another issue is that I no longer have the cars warning signals, for example, the turn signal sound and the no seat belt on sound.
Can you help me with this?

Does this CAN module require an external speaker for the system sounds ? There should be a 2-pin connector in your cable harness for it.
Concerning wrong key assignment:
This is an annoying problem almost everywhere.
Unfortunately the head unit manufactures provide no or very limited possiblities to re-assign the buttons.
They could probably reduce the number of support request by 50% if they would add full button remapping capabilites to their OSes...
If you have luck, there's a hidden steering wheel learning app somewhere in your OS. But most learning apps support analog buttons only and don't work with CAN-connected buttons.
A self-made solution would be to create a small box with e.g. an ESP32-C3 SuperMini and put it in the serial port line from the CAN module to the head unit. Then write a simple programm that transparently substitutes the button IDs in the messages.
You can even write an extended software that adds support for double and long presses.
This will also work for the buttons of the radio control panel.

@Funnybug: about the external speaker: I have no ideia. I do think I have a two pin connector but I have no place to plug it. The Android I bought does have a key mapping option but it never works, it does not recognise when I press the steering wheel buttons.
About your self-made solution, I don't think I have the knowledge to do that :(

In summary: From the car I have a big square plug (I assume its the CAN), I have an antenna plug and a mini-usb port that I have no idea what's for.
That's the only cables I get from the car.
Then I have my CAN cable with several connectors: a 20 pin connector that goes into the CAN box; a 18 pin connector that goes to the Android Car Auto; an 8 pin connector that also goes into the Car Auto; a 2 pin connector (red and black wires) that I have no idea what's for and where to plug it; I have a 2 pin connector (pink and black wires), also no idea what's for and where to plug it; and I have two (red and white) RCA plugs.
Then, from the Android Car Auto that I bought, I have a 10 pin connector that goes into the Car Auto and ends in a yellow RCA plug (I think this one is for a possible rear camera); and I have a 4 pin connector that goes into the Car Auto that ends in a mini-usb plug. I would be reasonable to think that this one is easy, mini-usb with mini-usb, but everything I tried on the Android Car Auto, every setting I tried, it seems the cable does nothing. Maybe I'm wrong, but everything worked the same either I have the usb cable plugged in or not.
