The vehicle runs without any driving issues, but after replacing the Android head unit and Raise CAN bus module, the vehicle warning sounds have changed. When I checked with a diagnostic tool, I found an RCM communication error.
I then checked again using another diagnostic tool (FORScan), and even more error codes were detected.
Although the vehicle is still drivable without any noticeable problems, these errors seem concerning, so I would like to try a CAN bus module from a different manufacturer for comparison.
I found that Hiworld is one of the most well-known companies in China. After contacting their customer service, they told me that the FDF2.2S is the correct module for my vehicle.
My car is a 2015 Ford Mondeo (Ford Mondeo Duratorq Turbo Diesel Common Rail Injection Stage VI 2.0L 2015).
However, Hiworld customer service also told me that they do not sell the FDF2.2S directly.
So I have been trying to find where I can buy it, but I have searched Taobao, Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon, and eBay, and even contacted sellers, but I cannot find it anywhere.
Question 1: Is it possible that the Hiworld FDF2.2S can also cause changes in warning sounds and errors like the ones shown in my diagnostic results?
Question 2: Where can I purchase the FDF2.2S?
